About Us![]() CLI is organized and managed daily by a group of local citizens concerned about keeping our children safe and inspired to become the best they can become. Originally founded as an organization where local children could gain access to computer training back in the 1980's, we've since expanded our program services to include safe and affordable housing. Most of the families we serve find they are able to provide their children with the best possible education, sufficient food and clothing, while living in a safe and nuturing environment. CLI is also a gateway agency for families to access resources they may be entilted to, but are unaware of their qualifications. We assist families personally in securing employment and training, permanent housing, mainstream benefits such as Social Security and social Security Disability Income, General Relief, Food stamps, and a number of other resources which promotes self sufficiency for the disabled or families in transition. And most of all, the families we serve are encouraged to help others in need. |
